The centering nib is the real win here — no more wandering across the panel when I'm drilling out spot welds on my project car. I used the 5/16" and 1/4" on a fender job and both cut clean without spinning in the chuck. Three sizes cover pretty much everything I run into.

Bought the 3/8" bit specifically to pull spot welds off my truck's floor pan and it cut through them in seconds without wandering. The flat side on the shank is a small thing but it means the bit actually stays put in my chuck.

The centering nib on these is no joke, it bites right into the weld and refuses to wander across the panel. Cobalt bits like this usually cost more than the whole set did, and the flat shank means my chuck finally grips without slipping.
